My son turned six this week, and now tomorrow is his big birthday shindig! He is so excited (as most kids would be) to have cake and presents and swimming if the rain can hold out! If not then we move the whole thing here where the kids will tear apart their rooms playing with their cousins and I will try to hold together the last bit of sanity while they do so!
That is all ok though because I will have my family here, plenty of food, and plenty of conversation to keep me busy no matter what we end up doing. In the morning I will go on a mad man hunt for my children's and my bathing suits, towels, and sand toys. I am praying for a sunny day so that the kids can enjoy what may be the last time we can go swimming before school starts.
Either way I am hoping that Andy has a great day. I am pretty sure he will though since presents always seem to make my day better no matter how much it sucks. Well I must turn in now and get my beauty rest since it is up early to get out of the house on time! I will post pics and highlights tomorrow!
