The Paper Princess

  Today was a pretty good day all in all!  I was able to get most of my TO DO list done and have some fun in the mean time.  Little Miss Mckenzee got her artistic bone out to play today!  We created her Paper Princess.  It is a life size, (she was actually laying on the paper and I drew around her) princess version of herself.  She let me outline a skirt, shirt, and part of the hair as well as the anklet she is wearing and the bracelet as well.  She was so cute about it.  She did even more coloring on it once I hung it on the wall by the front door. 

Potty training did not go very well today but hey it happens right?!  We did get some in the potty but two accidents meant we were back in a pull-up by dinnertime!  I think Mckenzee's favorite part of the day was eating her peanut butter and raspberry jam waffle sandwich and banana slices.  She told me that it was "delicksus" I swear that is exactly how it sounded!  We had some fun cleaning today too...she helped with dishes, folding laundry, and cleaning up the table!  I was pretty proud of her.  We also found her new favorite show too, turns out she totally loves 'Word World'...when it ended she said "Mama I watch again pleeeeeeease?" all drawn out like that and everything!  So thank goodness for DVR I started it again! 

The night ended pretty good as well too.  Miss Mckenzee and I had some strawberry caramel shakes and watched some 'Harold and the Purple Crayon' then she got in her favorite princess nightgown, brushed her teeth, and was snugly tucked in and cuddled with her Lavender Lamb watching "Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin".  That little girl loves her Winnie the Pooh and I love her more than life itself!
